DEXIS Core also powers a new collection of online tools beginning with Cloud Backup of patient images and CloudVu for remote access of patient images. “Security is more important than ever and DEXIS Eleven introduces user logins and audit tracking so that offices know who is accessing their sensitive patient data.”ĭEXIS Core is the single, centralized location used by DEXIS Eleven to store patient images and allows easy access to those images. “DEXIS Eleven furthers our focus on innovation with the introduction of enhanced security and cloud-based tools Cloud Backup and CloudVu,” said Gooch.
The new History View feature sorts and displays patient images by date to allow for a faster search when viewing past images. Users retain the ability to assign a specific tooth number if needed. With this new feature, the user can easily move imported and intra-oral camera images into predefined tooth number bins. The tooth number dialogue allows the user to assign tooth numbers using drag-and-drop functionality. “Building on this legacy, we’ve focused on reducing time in the operatory with improvements, like drag-and-drop tooth numbering and history view.” This next-generation software retains the functionality of previous versions,” said Brian Gooch, DEXIS Software Product Manager. “DEXIS is known for driving software efficiency, with features like our 5-minute FMX. Hatfield, PA., DEXIS, LLC, a brand of the KaVo Kerr Group, announced its latest software release – DEXIS™ Eleven. If changes are accepted through the Reconciliation window, the patient's name in the Dexis title bar will not be updated until the window is closed and reopened.Latest software release enhances case presentation and workflows while delivering Cloud Backup and CloudVu for remote access to images To keep the Resolved Conflict window from appearing, the patient's name will need to be corrected in either program so the name on the account is the exact same. If the Resolved Conflicts window is cancelled out of, or the Resolved Value is set to the Dexis values, the Resolve Conflict window will continue to come up when the patient is opened from the Integrated Imaging button since the Eaglesoft and Dexis values are different. The Cancel option may also be selected to continue into Dexis without making any changes. The end-user can double click the line to alternate the Resolved Value column between Eaglesoft and Dexis. The fifth column is what the patient's name will change to when the Resolved button is selected. The third and forth columns show the name as it is in Eaglesoft and the imaging software. The second column is detailed description of the conflict. The first column will describe the type of conflict - either first name or last name. When changes have been made to an Eaglesoft patient's name, a Resolve Conflict window will appear. This window will list conflicts in the name between Eaglesoft and Dexis.
